Lanvin S/S 2010 - Jacquelyn Jablonski - I think that this outfit needs to be in my wardrobe.
I am so down for entirely sparkle encrusted ensembles.

This will always be one of my favourite photoshoots - V Magazine: One Size Fits All by Terry Richardson.
Jacquelyn Jablonski and Crystal Renn.

I am in love with this combination - I'm a sucker for backless tops and dresses, and this is such a cute idea.

I'm going to go ahead and say this is Miu Miu (I'm not entirely sure because I got this from a Tumblr sans source) but oh, I am lusting after this collar.

Also I am entirely and completely in love with everything Frida Gustavsson puts on her body. She has such a range in her style and she's so adorable. The fact that she is less than a year older than me makes me feel like I am slacking a lot - she's done so much and she's so young!

I was diggin' this article: 12 Models With a Rock Inspired Look at front-row-view. Love Abbey, Freja, Agyness, and Kate!

Speaking of Abbey - I love this photo of her. Those glasses! Those cheekbones!

Also, I hope you have seen Suckerpunch, and if you haven't - watch it. Right now. Especially if you're a girl. The whole film is just entirely girl power and it's so awesome. Anyway, Emily Browning stars in it and I have come to the realization that she is pretty much the most awesome person ever. Do you see her eyes? Do you see those socks she's wearing in the third photo? Sigh. Also, contemplating the haircut in the last photo for myself. And do you know who she's dating?

Max Irons! Sigh, prettiest couple. Ever. They win.

Beware the Gonzo

Lindsey and I watched Beware the Gonzo last night - here's a summary I took off of IMDB:

"Eddie "Gonzo" Gilman is starting a revolution. When the wild-eyed rebel journalist is ousted from his prep school's newspaper by its über-popular editor, Eddie fronts an underground movement to give a voice to all the misfits, outcasts, and nerds. Soon the power of the press is in Eddie's hands... but will he use it wisely?"

The movie stars Ezra Miller (sigh) and Zoe Kravitz (sigh) as well as Jesse McCartney (I forgot about him) and a handful of lesser-known (but still equally awesome!) actors, and was hilarious and wicked and rad and sweet and any other adjective that could describe something as good. Apparently, reviews say that Ezra was too dramatic in it.... but I'm pretty sure that it was on purpose? I mean I'm pretty sure that's how Gonzo was supposed to be. But that's my opinion. I also liked the fact that Ezra's hair grew in size throughout the movie. Anyway, here are some photos that I found (there aren't many) so that you all can bask in Ezra and Zoe's indie beauty.

It's basically a modern version of a John Hughes movie with people that are so attractive it's almost not believable that they are supposed to be "outcasts". It's awesome. Watch it.

PULCHRITUDE

I need to do this to a pair of shorts!

I am in love with everything on kibster's etsy! Unfortunately, this vintage magazine rack is sold out,
but there are so many other cute pieces. You have to check it out.

Who doesn't love ridiculously adorable hair bows?! Check out jasminefabre's etsy for more!

Oh man, look at this adorable tea mug cozy from knitstorm! I need to start knitting again, how cute is that?

This is literally the most comfortable, adorable, and warm-looking scarf I have ever seen. Definitely need something like this.

Sorry for the kind of terrible photo, but how rad is this? Books as shelves? Awesome.

Success!

My seventeenth birthday is officially the best birthday ever. My night in photos:

About the best photo that I got of my dress, but you get the gist of it. Only $20 dollars at H&M! It's so, so comfortable,
and I tried it on today with an old jean vest and Doc Martens and it looks so cute! Versatile!

Marley - stealing my chair! Silly pup.
Did you know that if you pour just-burned candle wax into water that it staysin whatever form you poured it into? So cool!

Victor's amazing birthday present to me! A Pentax P3! I'm having a bit of trouble with the film advance,
but I'm so excited to start using it once I get it checked out!

Sheldon's birthday present to me - so awesome!
I have such a hard time using liquid eyeliner, but I think it turned out alright.
I tend to make mistakes and then try and fix them by thickening the line - thus my heavily lined eyes, haha.
This photo does not do it justice but the white fairy lights idea turned out rad.

And finally - the birthday card that Lindsey gave me! So cute, right?
Love it.

So much fun!

My first post!

In less than two hours it will be my seventeenth birthday! I have sooo many things to do before the little shindig I'm throwing at my house:

  • Bake four dozen cupcakes - vanilla, chocolate, and french toast!
  • Purchase tonnes of treats!
  • Decorate the backyard - I'm talking white fairy lights!

I'm wearing a dress from H&M that I am in love with - floral, of course. I'm also planning on attempting to curl my hair! Keep in mind that I have absolutely no idea how to do such a thing - but hopefully it turns out something like this sans hat...

Wish me luck! And brace yourselves for a photo filled post afterward! xo
